I'm also pleased Amazon took the time the notify me of the change as it made me realise I'd pre-ordered it from two retailers

February the 5th, 2008. 02052008 doesnt make sense like that, and makes even less sense when you start putting time in there (cos time works from right>left in terms of big>small). 14:53/05/02/2008 works best, but you could justify doing it the exact opposite to keep with watch time. So 2008/02/05/14:53 works quite well so long as it has those particular dividers.
time and date keeping is just a massive mess really.
why am i talking about this?

Simple. Take the ISO date, now pick a totally random number with one decimal place, there's your stardate.

or will they wait out till 1.12 when the disappearing party members is scheduled to be fixed...
There are still horror show bugs in the game, It must be a tough decision.

Usually they ship with the latest patch so I'm expecting 1.10 as we're (hopefully!) near a release. I just hope the expansion is quick to follow

Yep! I remember reading two or three reviews when it came out about how the recommended requirements seemed high for this time of game and it's level of graphics.
