Does anyone know if Leopard ruins the file limit fix that simmers use to increase the max file limit?

I specifically would like to know if Leopard's max file limits are different than Tigers and if Leopard still has an /etc folder so that maxfiles can be altered.

I'm hesitant to install Leopard if it's going to mess up my precious file limits in Sims 2 which allows virtually unlimited downloads! :o

The relevant sysctls work the same on Leopard, and so does /etc/sysctl.conf. FYI, the defaults on my Leopard machine are:
kern.maxfiles = 12288
kern.maxfilesperproc = 10240

It'd be worth making a backup of your sysctl.conf just in case the Leopard installer removes it.

Only issue I noticed under Leopard are missing mirror reflections (once again...) and sometimes popping or stuttering audio playback. Does anyone else have this, too?

I haven't noticed any of these. Everything's been just fine under Leopard.

Do you use any expansions or just the plain vanilla Sims 2?

I have all EPs up through Seasons (no BV yet) and FFS and GL stuff packs.

I play on a G5, (and sometimes on a MB Pro, but so far I haven't runs TS2 on the MB Pro with Leopard.)
