Is there a simple way short of acquiring PC access, hacking an XP install and creating a new bootable CD? I have a legit XP SP2 disc, just want to run it on an external FW or USB drive externally (my guess is FW is a no-go), to obviate partitioning my already limited internal MBP drive.
Thanks a million.
If not, what is the tried and true methodology (specifically looking at firing up COD4).
Danke.

my advice, create the smallest partion you can spare, then grab a external hard drive and format it for your windows, only problem is i dont know how the performance would be for a somewhat demanding game like COD4 running off a ext HDD it would have to be FW400 minimum 800 if you got it. In all honesty you should really just make more room on your internal HDD in OSX with the EXT and create a 25gb partion for XP, thats what i have and im able to hold 4 games from steam and some music, and still have room to move around (3gb) not much but its enough breathing room for me. In case you dont have a EXT HDD i recommend Lacie D2, they have all the connections and performance at a good price. ive had mine for over a good year not a single issue, just bought another one 500gb for under 200 bucks. LaCie D2
