Have you read the infos on Austin's page? The scenery is getting even more detailed. I assume a release on 10 DVDs and 100 GB complete installation size...

Vertical navigation would also be cool, crossing restraints in the descent for example and/or intercepting inbound radials Not as important but the Airbus A319/320 and 330 include flight laws where the computer keeps you from exceeding parameters such as doing rolls. My guess is you guys would not like that so maybe it is not a priority.

Sounds like you have not setup your joystick correctly. Go to Settings -> Joystick & Equipment and assign your axes according to controller movements. At least for me they are not correct by default.
What do you mean it was always night in the game? You can set up time of day freely Environment -> Time & Date. Or press l for later time, k for earlier.

I am a pilot and am very familiar with the EP-3, B727, DC9, and A320, having flown them. I spent a couple of years flying with my son online doing Warbirds. He's currently trying to talk me into Fighter Aces on the PC, but when I burned out on Warbirds, it's been kind of tough getting me back into virtual flying on a regular basis. Every so often I'll check back into X-Plane to see how it's automation realism is developing.

Ooooh I did about 18 months in Warbirds way back in v2.7 in the old Fighter Ops arena, maybe we crossed swords there?

Based on your type-repertoire, Northwest, by chance?
Yeah X-Plane has a long way to go before it's truly the systems nirvana that a heavy metal driver would want, but with the aid of a slowly-stabilizing SDK and a few committed add-on devs, someday we'll get there

When there's a multiplayer version, I'm going to be on Frost's team. Well, except he doesn't seem to actually need a team...I mean, what's the point? "Hey look, it's Frost and His Merry Gang of Useless Hangers-On!" Or something.

Help
