Hi There,

I have installed the beta 1.4 of bootcamp and installed XPSP2.

Most of the games work perfectly fine, though the one game i wanted to play the most (Quake Wars) will not run!

The error that i get when i load it is, GL_ARB failure, and the entire game shuts down....

i have tried installing ATI Catalyst and even updating the driver itself, but i run into more issues . . . apparently the Hardware or operating system does not support the current application.. some PC generic rubbish error message like that.

If anyone has had the same problem, please let me know, i would be much appreciative.

Find a way to install the Catalyst Control Center, then disable Catalyst A.I.

Worked for me on my 2.4 iMac.

I have to disable Catalyst AI every time I startup, and it works for me.

Actually, we are in luck now. The Driver Mod Tool was updated to include support for the Radeon 2600 series under XP.

Ok this is weird. Installed the modded Catalyst 7.10 drivers (which ETQW requires). After install I get flickering black screens. I manage to uninstall all ATI drivers, then reinstalled from the Leopard install disc, everything works now. No Catalyst tinkering required now. Performance is much better as well.

Such a weird night.

Also, if anyone wants to friend me or anything, that would be nice.
