personally i set everything to mainly medium with the occasional low (shaders in particular) and its pretty smooth, just with boat loads of pop-in...
overclocking is supposedly very easy using RivaTuner... but personally I think that the form factor of the MBP makes it not quite the best idea to do. feel free to try it, just dont go crazy.

If anyone is playing the Crysis Demo on a MBP with WinXP/DX9 could you post what kind of frames your getting? If I read the benches right, mid settings on XP give high 20's for frames. If so that is what I'm getting in Vista.
Thanks.
edit: Today 11/6 I was getting low 20's...

If that's what you're getting in vista, expect more in XP.. but it's actually what you got in XP, and it seems similar to Vista? hm.. Dont have the space for crysis demo though, can't check it out.

Going to boot up the Windows Vista partition in a few minutes...
It's cool how you can grab the North Korean soldiers by the throat and punch & throw them!
Have played the demo on easy and normal difficulty, so far.
I've played it at 1024x600 and 1280x720.
Will try turning the shaders down to low... and trying a lower resolution and see what it does.
I think with Fraps, I was averaging between 15 - 20 fps.
Most of the settings were at medium or low.
Put a few screencaps up on my flickr photo stream (in my Intel iMac set).
I have some more I'd like to add..

I was up until 3:30 AM this morning playing with the Crysis Sandbox 2 Editor!
I found Jester's corpse.. wonder if all your team gets "killed off"?
Frames per second range 15 - 25. I may pick up the game once I hear how the final version
runs on the new iMacs.
