Has anyone tried Freespace Open (or any of the mods based on FSO) on a Macbook 2Ghz or faster with 2Gb of RAM ? How well does it run ? Right now I'm still using Tigital's version on my G4/800 Powermac with Radeon7500 as this machine doesn't meet the system requirements for Freespace open. But I suppose it's safe to say that the Macbook's processor is lightning fast compared to my G4 and that even the GMA950 is a hell of a lot better than my 32Mb ATI Radeon 7500 ?

First of all, sorry for the ultra long topic line : sth must have gone wrong while posting...
Now for my question : I know that the Macbook is not a gaming machine, so this question must be getting tiresome. However, I only need to know about Freespace Open. I've enjoyed it immensely on my powermac so i really hope I will be able to continue playing it on my macbook. Anyone, please ?

Have you tried Beyond The Red Line?
http://www.game-warden.com/bsg/
It is based on Freespace engine. And it is free.
