Can you please remove or request that MacSoft redo the Age of Empires III expansion flash banner ad? Every time this ad comes up, it has a significant negative effect on browser performance here (Safari 3.0.2; Flash 9,0,60,120). It impedes normal use (typing and scrolling become incredibly choppy) and just really makes trying to peruse the forums a huge pain (it comes up so frequently that I can't bear to just pop by for more than a few moments).
None of the other ads (flash or otherwise) have this effect.

While the powers that be consider your request, I'd like to remind folks that a subscription to IMG Pro will disable all the ads on the IMG website. To tell you the truth, I can't stand any of them. A necessary evil for business, but they are rarely informative or inviting, only distracting and in your case outright annoying.
Is anybody else experiencing the same problem as devSin?

To a point yes. I am experiencing far worse loading times of pages that have the particular ad on them.

I'd have to agree. The ad does seem to have negative effects on my ability to scroll and type. I figured it was just Firefox being flaky with Flash as it usually is. But I guess this hits everyone.

It probably wouldn't be so bad if the ads were actually stored on IMG's servers but instead they're from outside servers. Means you have to request info from two separate servers. Lame.
IMG Pro is basically just an ad-disabler. Not much else.

seriously kids, just get safaristand, and in its prefs go to site alteration, put this site in, and then have it disable flash.

Why wont you just go and wreck it for the rest of us.
...
Oh wait, you already did.
I'm kinda like AMG's view of it, but like I said...
I do find it a tad annoying.

P.S. I think maybe if the ads could be changed more regularly, I don't know about the rest of you guys, (even though I try not to pay attention to them) but they are getting a bit boring and old.
