Well, it's me again. If anyone is interested, and judging by the amount of emails I have received, there are, I am currently working on more updates to VGP2. Imola is just about finished with new banners and signs throughout the track along with new ground and track textures. This whole project (Project VGP2007) is going to take some time, but I would love to have a "complete" upgrade available. All the tracks updated (remember, I can only work within the confines of the engine also) along with a few extra tweaks for the cars. I will also try to make sure that I release high and low res textures to keep VGP2 running well on all computers. I already have the new cockpit done. I will make that available very soon.

Why wouldn't you release the updated tracks as each becomes completed?

I will announce the actual project very this weekend. All the details will be there. As far as releasing the tracks one by one, it really depends on how long it takes to get some of these done. If things are going well, it will be released as a whole package for download. If things are taking a while, I will release track by track. But I really want to have a whole package for everyone.

I have to admit though, that I am really surprised at how many nice emails and PM's I have received for trying to keep the game up-to-date. The game may be a few years old, but there are still quite a few people enjoying it today. I want to thank everyone who has emailed.
