I've been using Windows XP SP2 just fine for about 3 months, then today I booted OSX to download photos from my cell, when I rebooted back into XP, my keyboard stopped working and I tried rebooting numerously and it didn't fix a thing. But, in OSX the keyboard remained working. Help!

is it wired or the bluetooth one? is it an apple keyboard?

you may want to try reinstalling the bootcamp drivers.

then the only thing i can suggest is that you reinstall the apple drivers, I had this problem with sound once, and reinstalling the drivers did the trick.

and on another note, next time you are asking for help, instead of being sarcastic, how about you just answer the question seeing as its not that hard. It will make it easier for us to help you solve your problem.

Also, if you took 2 seconds to read my signature you wouldn't have to waste your time asking me irrelevant questions.

Just because you have a MBP dosnt mean you cant use external keyboards...I always do (and yes, i read your sig...)

I cant remeber how to reinstall the driver because I did it back when I was using verion 1.0, the new drivers cd may have an option on it.

You know apple, I had the same problem as you with my macbook pro, tried everything but the keyboard never worked. However I was able to plug in a standard USB keyboard and it ran fine. Ended up having to wipe the XP partition and reinstall XP to get the keyboard up and running again. No idea what I did differently that caused it to end up like that but it hasnt done it since. I know this doesnt help much, but just letting you know I feel your pain =p, and hopefully someone will have a quick fix so the next time my laptop decides to do this i dont have to completely reinstall XP.

Yes I understand that, and I am not complaining, I think what apple has done is truly impressive and I give them props for supporting their rival operating system on their own systems =p. Besides when things go wrong on the XP it makes you truly apprieciate just how great of an OS apple has ^_^

Yeah, my mom would always complain about stupid little things in os x, so I said "fine, would you like windows on there?". I havn't heard a peep about os x ever since :).

she wouldnt say anything more, but shed also look really confused all the time till she finds out what ubuntu is.
