I'd like to know what happened to it as well. It disappeared off IMG's release date list.

Well, considering Feral announced the port almost 2 years ago (July 7, 2005 to be exact) I'm starting to wonder if they've dropped it altogether. I know they had technical delays with Imperial Glory so perhaps it's the same for Fable. Anyone at Feral care to throw us a bone?

*throw*

Fable: The Lost Chapters for Mac is currently still in development.

The beta was announced on these boards a little while ago. That's still running, because we don't want to release the game with bugs in it, and because we're ever optimising to support as many Macs as is feasible.

We don't currently have any firm release information, so unfortunately we can't give you any.

while its difficult to assess the inflection of a statement on the internet, its easily aided by the use of smilies, as you yourself aptly used.

its quite easy to come along see something like that and then take it to be the truth.

as it is i couldnt remember when fable 2 was planned for (checking, the date set for it is 2008), which makes it even easier to believe.

anyway, i was slightly over the top, yes. my bad.

I'm looking forward to this one so it's good to hear things are still moving forward. I don't think the time lag will be too much of an issue given that we're not exactly inundated with RPG's (although we do have promising titles in development like Broken Hourless etc).

And then we'll be able to move straight on to a cider version of Fable 2 :D

this is a serious question for anyone who wants to answer it

how much will you be asking for fable once it is done?
because, i personally although i have played though it before(just not on PC) would not pay any more that AUS$30 for it.
it is now a rather old game.
i am still interested in playing it over again in full detail, high res on my 5.1 system Ect.

just not with yesterdays pricetag :)

Hello!

Yes, I was just kidding about that.

However, it is well known that the developers of Fable on the Mac are trying desperately to beat the developers of "Duke Nukem Forever" on the pc for the coveted "longest game in development" trophy!

My vote goes to Feral..come on guys, we all know you can s..t...r.....e........t.......c..........h that port out a little longer!!!
