Here's an article with some more details about Starcraft 2 including what type of video card it's most likely going to require.

"The team did note that a Shader Model 2.0-compatible graphics card will be required. (That's GeForce FX, Radeon 9000 or better, PC Gamer reports.)"

I agree with the comment though that it probably doesn't mean Radeon 9000 or better it probably means 9600 or better.

the 9550 is an underclocked 9600, yes. but the 9500 was essentially a 9700 with disabled pipelines. Many a 9500 was only hampered by its ROM, and so software mods could turn it back into the 9700 that it really was. Some, were physically crippled, but even these were faster than the 9600 (or at least on par).

but the 9500 often gets excluded anyway, because the 9600 had slightly better shader support.
