I recently had a chance to play the newest version of Leisure Suit Larry (Magna Cum Laude)- PC only. The Mac community is not missing anything. It is more tedious than scintillating, especially the conversations. Instead of making choices with the goal of enduring yourself to and seducing a coed, you play a eye-hand coordination obstacle avoidance game to advance the conversation while in the background mostly silly non-consequential blather goes on.

In a way, yes...

But for a game it shows a distinct laziness in not bothering to work up some good come-on lines and followup conversation to support it. Instead your guiding a sperm past some obstacles and there isn't even a giant egg at the end of the journey. And the mini games to advance your conquests get even worse than that. There is a makeover (as in makeup) session requiring you to hit buttons so fast, I can't even keep up with it... talk about a twitch game! One exception might be the pong game which is simply boring.

But not as demanding as this.  Up arrow, down arrow, left arrow, left arrow... that does not sound too hard eh? Except the allowable reaction time is about .25 sec, all you are doing is matching arrows that appear on the screen but it's too fast even for my lightning fast reflexes! Give me real sex any day!

Oh dear... I remember this one, although playing it was more a case of some kinda "oh my god..." in a sick way... And then trashing it 5 minutes later. I don't think any kind of sex game would appeal to me until we got Total Immersion™ suits and some decent AIs (programmed by women   ) Give me the real thing any day - or not at all.

Oh, and one bad moment in VV was accessing the "secret level"... I think when you had a score of zero, and clicked something else.. from memory, but I won't go into that...

January 24, 41 CE. 30 wounds, according to Seutonius. And the assassins killed his wife and baby daughter (the later by smashing her head against a wall) at the same time. At last 3 attempts on his life prior to that. Wasn't much liked I'm afraid.

The developer of Bliss is proportedly working on a java version that will be cross platform. There was an article about the game in Wired a while back. The concept sounds intriguing to say the least.

There were a few 68k/early PPC adult games that I can think of --

Virtual Valerie (I briefly played VVII, prerendered 3D stimulation game -- scary more than anything else.  Like if the Cyberflixx characters from Lunicus were sex dolls)

Ultra Vixen (Animated Hentai game I think, seen it in action, but never played it)

Google also brings up info for 'SpoonToons' and 'Virtua Girl'

I remember there was also a costume changing program for the mac which opened 'kiss' files (each kiss file would be a different drawn model w/ costume).  There were 'french kiss' files which were more explicit.

Yes, good luck on your 1 post quest to mid 90s prerendered sexual glory!  You might need to buy a 68k mac & spend a few months hunting down the ancient titles though =P
