It's out, touted as improved over ootp 2006, which was a pretty decent managment sports sim, in my opinion. Download a demo here:

I was a HUGE fan of OOTP 5 on the PC. Spent many, many hours (tooooo many hours) running seasons, making trades, tweaking my minor leagues, striving for a World Series victory. Great, great fun.

OOTP 2006, their first Mac version, didn't run very well on my computer. Here's hoping they've improved the Mac code. Soon as I free up some time in my life I'll try this out.
