lol I was just going to post that i had decided to get that game! the demo is stellar and I'm stoked to play it again!

I don't want to run classic on my computer. I used to do it, but it started taking up too much room... I'm content with Warcraft 3, although i don't doubt that the other games suggested are loads of fun...

Somebody mentioned that there was a warcraft expansion pack?

Hey, go to Ebay and get the Collectors Edition of Warcraft III..it's really cheap and comes with some extra cool stuff!!

Hi Bobleypeel and welcome to the fourms! :)

Before I can try to help, what do you mean by load them straight on? Are you meaning whether they will run on your Mac? …depending upon the system requirements.

More or less only games from Blizzard will work on both Mac and Windows, if that is what you are referring to, otherwise you'll have to get the Mac native editions if you don't want to dual boot. There are several newer RTS games out for Mac.

Rise of Nations was the finest RTS ever put out for Mac. Some innovative RTS mechanics (limits to types of buildings/city) and unfrentic gameplay. At last it was the only one I could ever play without feeling like the computer was cheating or I needed two years of play to get right and have a chance. But I'm old, right?

AoM is too old. I would suggest Majesty 2. It has nice graphics and it's not that expensive. I got it from App Store:  http://itunes.apple....y-2/id407774509
