I don't know if it's just me, but I miss the Inside Mac Shareware column IMG had for a little while. While it may have featured some games about which I could have cared less, there were several titles I would have totally missed if they hadn't been mentioned in one of those articles. Sure, I like my big name games, but I've also come across a share of outstanding shareware titles in the past, and I'm always on the lookout for other games from indie developers. One shouldn't knock a title just because it's low-budget; after all, I've gotten hours upon hours of fun from some of these games.
Is there any chance that this column may see a come-back in the future?

Inside Mac Shareware What ever happened to the column?

i think the column has been replaced by an upsurge in coverage of the games in the news and reviews sections of IMG....
also, while there is a big-ish shareware market right now, ive not seen much shareware that has been really innovative or different of late, with a lot of clones coming out...
i think it needs to be a sort of year in review type article, released just in time for christmas or something like that, which covers some of the better offerings.

You know, I realized that a few minutes after posting. Oh well. I'd still prefer just a monthly column rather than all these amassing individual shareware reviews. Yeah, it may be good to have an overall look at what was released at the end of a year, but I don't think it should be restricted to just that one time.

ok, well maybe every couple of months... perhaps quarterly? i dont really see there being enough to chat about on a monthly basis. theres barely enough mac gaming news in general...
as for the number of shareware reviews, i think that they are pretty much what kept IMG afloat and not dead last year, cos as we all remember, 2006 was a "bad year" for mac gaming.

Firefox should come out with special filter for IMG called "Shareware Blocker". It automatically removes any news pertinent to shareware games that have the words "bubble, popper, falling, blocks" or anything like that at all.
