All games should have BUILT-IN GUI widescreen support! (if they dont, check my blog)
No games should require a CD or DVD to play, a serial number is enough!

And yet for some reason, even though I'm a non-Pro, I'm getting 70k/sec. :)
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

My IMG Pro HTML download is giving me a span of 284KB to 581KB. It's all over the map. The server is hammered into the ground by the Prey demo, you need to make allowances for that.

im getting around 110 kbps... though i think ive been hitting my internet pretty hard of recent times.
The main way to benefit from Pro is to wait a good day or two and get it then, cos they must get caned with pro downloaders early on.

Macbook Pro - C2D 2.4Ghz / 4Gb RAM / WD Scorpio Black 320GB ( 255GB OSX v 42GB XP ) / Geforce 8600M GT 256Mb / 15.4"
Cube - G4 1.7Ghz 7448 / 1.5Gb RAM / Samsung Spinpoint 250GB / Geforce 6200 256Mb

We won! Apple offer the 17" with a matte screen! Well... at a price...

Are you sure you're logged into IMG Pro on MGF? That could explain why you're downloading at such a sluggish pace.

Pro links should be going from an isolated server setup with not much of a cap. When you are logged into pro on MGF, it will give you those links IF THEY EXIST for that file. Some older files simply are too old and not popular, so there are no links setup for them.

yeah, I was sure I was logged in at the IMG Pro. I double checked it at the time.
In the end the speed DID go up to 50K/sec so it did improve, but still I mean, that is not something that I feel happy about. :(

There isent a lot of stuff that I download though the IMGPro so its pretty disappointing that the one time that I really want the download to be quick, its sluggish as a donkey in pudding.

You live in Denmark, which is one of the reasons you are seeing slower download speeds.

I constantly get between 300 to 500k per sec, even when it's busy but I'm much closer to the servers.

We may create a new IMG Pro server for customers in Europe.

Have you looked at using Akamai or something like it? Or are all their services out of IMG's price range?

MGS downloads would benefit from such an arrangement as well. Does MGS use the same infrastructure as MGF?
