We've heard a little side remark on the subject in one of the later news letters. No news other than that has come in.

Quote

Here are the games we have patches planned for (these games all run on Intel under Rosetta, but new versions could run better):

Civilization® III: Complete
Command & Conquer™ Generals/Zero Hour/Deluxe
Rollercoaster® Tycoon 3
Simcity™ 4/Rush Hour/Deluxe
Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy
Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast

In addition, several of Aspyr's older titles run on the Intel Macintosh under Rosetta, the software Apple ships in Intel computers to automatically translate PowerPC code to run on the Intel chip,. For a full list of Aspyr's catalogue of games, please visit the website.

It's the last one on the list that hasn't been universalised. And I heard somewhere that the SC4 UB was to be finished sometime after the C&C UB - which has been published a short time ago. So, I guess it can't be too long.

We're well underway on the SC4 Universal development, and hoping to have a build in our QA for testing in a week or so. It's been quite an undertaking, SC4 is a fairly old codebase that has seen lots of different programmers in its life. We're working on the patches for both the original SC4 and Rush Hour. No ETA on when it'll be released, we'll have to see how it looks after we've tested it for a while.

Don't count on it happening. SC4 under Non-UB works decently.
