We are *NOT* a bunch of kids playing demolition derby. Most of us are business professionals with families who love to mix it up on the track Tuesday and Thursday nights as a way to relax..though sometimes it seems to be the opposite.
Our winter series starts December 12th and will be open to anybody who wants to race. You do not need to buy anything or pay any fees (though you should have a wheel and pedal set). We will help get you set up with everything you need. A free demo of the game is available to those interested in trying out this type of racing.
Please check out or forums for more info...

Congratulations for your new MACAR site and the admin's decision to once again allow free access to your downloads (I had not noticed that until today as I've used a direct link to the forum). Having the downloads available may attract more MacUser and retain their interest until they feel more confident in their driving ability and/or get a faster connection. I suggest you also add the OWR and GTP mods to that D/L listing and (why not?) although you're not using them, the Ferrari330, AD67, GN70, Late Models, Super Sprints... which are also pretty good.
Cheers

OWR07 was announced in this forum thread with a couple of pics:

Pictures of this recent new version of the OWR mod are a bit difficult to find yet. A render of the basic models without final paints there:

One painted car here:

You can download the Mac version of the mod in the following forum thread (see Curry's post):

If ever this link was to die, most mod and track files that have PC ".exe" installers can easily be opened in Virtual PC.
EDIT:
Just found pics of a 17-car IRL set that was used for beta testing OWR07. Only the Oval track version of the Dellara model is represented. The final updated mod also includes the Road Course version of the Dellara as well as the Oval and RC versions of the Panoz model.
