D2X-XL, an enhanced version of the D2X OpenGL modification of the classic shooter Descent 2, has been updated to version 1.86. The update introduces a new dynamic lighting method, enhanced Monsterball game mode, and a few bug fixes.

Changes in version 1.86:

• Fixed Monsterball bugs
• Enhanced Monsterball game mode
• Introduced new dynamic lighting method
• Fixed CTF bugs

D2X-XL is available for download at Macgamefiles.com. It requires the original Descent 2 discs.
