Edit: Yeah, she wants solitaire, freecell, minesweeper, and tetris. Thanks!

Since you are talking about games packaged with Windows, I assume you mean something like solitair, right? I recommend this one.

Every rookie programmer makes a puzzle clone and vainly thinks he can sell it. Fortunately, there are some more experienced heads who make the games for free.

Quinn is definitely the best Tetris game for the Mac (and it's UB). You can get it from Versiontracker here.

I apologise. However, plug 'FreeCell' into the search box on the IMG home page, do the same on VersionTracker, compare and contrast the results.

Search on MacGameFiles, not IMG. There's plenty of results on both searches. Though I agree, use MGF for games...

If I remember right, VersionTracker's game files are on the macgamefiles.com server.

Yeah, VersionTracker doesn't actually host any files, they simply link to various other hosts. In the case of games, that is often MGF.

If you can you want to find the newest version which is 3.3.3 and has the chat bug fixed.
I haven't linked to anyone but frankly I use VersionTracker and MacUpdate because they offer all software updates, rather than have to go to an additional site that only has games.

Hardly. Just because a company threatens legal action doesn't mean that they're right. There are many cases when company trademarks become regular parts of the English language (like Xerox).
