It certainly looks like it might be fun. I'll give the demo a try when I get home.

This game is a lot of fun...the initial player setup interface is a little confusing (at least in the demo) but the art is beautiful, and the game is a classic shoot-em-up.

Now that is a shoot-em-up done right!

I haven't had that much fun in a long while.  I especially love the people who abandon ship and then shoot at you from the ground!  What a great gameplay addition.

Thank you for pointing out the release of this game!  It is a total blast.

Wow, after having spent about an hour playing I have only this to say....buy the full version!
This game is total masterpiece, runs great on my G4 eMac even with all that carnage going on.  The humor and destruction remind me a lot of the Metal Slug games even though they're slightly different genres.

This is how a shmup should be, and this is coming from a hardcore arcade gamer like myself.  Buy it now!

What's even more fun is watching those lil' guys get squashed by aircraft wreckage.
Also, the 'secret crate' mastermind mini-game is kind of amusing, even though I seem to have gotten a bit rusty in that department.

Yes, I bought it, and it's quite fun, to say the least. If only the download hadn't taken hours on my dial-up. :whistling: All is well, though. It was definitely worth the twenty quid.

I checked out this game last weekend and was blown away.  I showed my brother and his friend (both PC users) and they immediately downloaded the demo for themselves.  Definately a great find in the vast sea of shareware titles.  (I especially like the way the little guys go flying when you shoot them, like their blood pressure is 500 pounds per square inch or something.) :D

Same thing that happened to my brother.  I pointed this game out to him (strict PC user) and he downloaded the demo and later bought the full version.

For this developer, having developed a Mac version created more awareness for his product and thus led to additional sales on the PC side.  Good move!

Looks fun downloading the demo as I type.

A really great shoot em up I found today is GridWars, which is JUST like Geometry Wars on the 360. It is SUPER fun to play and free. While I highly recomned a dual analog controller it can still be played with a keyboard and mouse with ease.

Check it out here (its for PC too)

Just beat the game.  Great ending.  Only complaint would be that the weapons selection is so godlike by the end that it's impossible to be touched.

If you want to feel like a badass, upgrade and use three skywalkers mid-game.  Hot, but very pretty, esp. with a rotary cage.

Yes, I have named each of my teddy bears.
