ROOT BEER SUCKS i tried some today from a yank mate of mine AND IT TASTES LIKE TOOTHPASTE! not just normal toothpaste AIRPLANE TOOTHPASTE! ;)  ;)  ;)

Hmm. I haven't had root beer in a long time but I have fond memories of it.

Than again, at various points in my life I have had fond memories of the following:

Corned Beef
Sandwich Spread
Tinned Ravioli.

All are, in recent tests, utterly repugnant. :sabber:

Either methods of food production have changed in the last 20 years, or my tastebuds, or both.

I'm glad they didn't have computers when I was growing up, I'd neglect my school work too.  That said, AUSSIEMACGAMER!  GET YOUR ASS OFF THE COMPUTER AND GET BACK TO THOSE SCHOOL BOOKS!! ow.  Now my throat hurts, think I'll soothe it with a tall frosty mug of A&W root beer.

I love root beer so much that I have an A&W Fire Extinguisher nearby at all times in case of an emergency.

Actually, root beer is yummy.  In fact, I'm pretty sure the fact that you somehow find it "disgusting" is directly related to your...how do we put it...less-than-stellar grades.  If you liked root beer as much as I do, you would be getting straight As, like I did.  (Well, like I sometimes did.  Bs count as As, right?)

Organic Root Beer is good, but I hate when they don't include food coloring in it. :angry:

I should try Jones Root Beer sometimes, or maybe their Blue Bubblegum soda. Mmmmm... it's as good as Bubble Yum soda.

It's weird actually, half of the Aussie population seems to drink and love Sars, which is the same thing as root beer, while the other half hates it. It does seem to be a lot more popular in Queensland though. Also, 99% of Aussies seem to hate the taste of Dr. Pepper.

Rootbeer is the best kind of soda, i mean come on. Do you like coke? Coke is tasteless its carbonated water with caffine. Rootbeer actually has some flavor. I suppose its possible to dislike it. But come on, if you're going to drink a soda you mine as well make it one with some taste to it.

Has anybody here ever had ginger beer? That stuff is good.

Now take that ginger beer, mix it half-and-half with Gosling's dark rum, throw in a big wedge of lime and chuck in some ice. It's called a "Dark & Stormy" and it will ablate all thoughts of root beer.
