Also, anyone know how having a Japanese WinXP might affect English versions of games? OSX handles things nice and smooth, but I don't trust Windoze.

The games run in the language they ship as? It's not too complicated ;)
XP Pro has a language pack if you can find the English version cheaper, say OEM from NewEgg. NewEgg handles the OEM sales requirements, and you're not beholden to MS so it's not your legal problem unless it's different in Japan.

Considering that Amazon.co.jp is selling English version games to Japanese consumers, I'm thinking it's not problematic. Now I just need A) Time B) Money C) To be un-lazy for a bit and install Boot Camp.

Any how, this is Lolita Decruel calling from Wanda's Whip, Leather and Weapons Emporium. We noticed that your parole conditions have recently been lifted and that VISA has recently issued you a new card and wanted to let you know about our latest 20% off sale on all pre-used items in the store. What? Can you speak up a bit I can't hear you very well. What's going on in the background? Uh, yes, yes, that does apply to harnesses. You will? Great! We see you soon, then. Have a spankingly nice day."
