What are the chances of this happening?  Any facts or opinions?

I'd rather them make it UB first, but maybe package the Ub patch/Expansion Pack together ;)

Most likely this is what we'd do, if we had announced anything yet :)

C&C Deluxe didn't go out Universal because it had been wrapped up and at the duplicator around the time we got our first Intel Macs.  But it is a good opportunity to make Universal versions of games if we're working on an expansion or deluxe edition.

Here is yet another game I'd love to see UB as well as having the expansions ported.  I'd completely support a two expansion pack bundle with UB support for $60.  Make it so please :)

You'd have to wait for a second expansion pack to come out first.

My bad! I've never seen "Wild" on the official site. It looks like RCT + Zoo Tycoon.

It is...somewhat.  Honestly it adds some of the best new rides and stalls out of any of them.  I myself have never played zoo tycoon, but I found that wild only adds just enough to not get overbearing on the animal care.

Wild looks like it would be cool expansion. Although, I would just be happy to see the game UB first.  I understand that you would want to make it UB and add the expansion pack at the time.  Makes sense. But, I'm concerned as to how much time that will add to a UB release.

I'm in a holding pattern until the UB comes out. Can't wait to play it in UB mode.  My Intel Mac is bored.

can anyone actually confirm if expansions are coming for rollercoaster tycoon on the mac? Is there any reason Aspyr could not tell us if they were working on it?

if one of these expansions were to be made... will aspyr announce it before they start, or do they wait until they are halfway finished before they even say something. What I'm basically asking is... if they are working on it, what would prevent them from telling us?

Aspyr has stated before that it is not always up to them when they can announce they are working on a title. It depends on the licensing agreement.

One thing I would like to hear from Glenda, Brad, or whoever is did you have access to the expansions during the making of RCT3? The one comparison I can think of is how MacSoft released Rise of Nations. They didn't just release Rise of Nations, but rather, Rise of Nations Gold which included the Thrones and Patriots expansion. It was sweet because it kind of made the wait worth it.

is there any news on this yet? I just want to know if the expansions are coming... I don't even care when... I just want to know if it is going to happen or if it is in talks, etc?

7 months later... I will ask again... Is there any chance of the expansion packs coming? It's been mentioned in magazines, and was even hinted at by Glenda a few months ago, but now the well has run dry.

Things are still in the works, but various non-technical issues have slowed things down.  Sorry I can't say much more.
