Yesterday Macgamer posted a preview of Pangea Software's Enigmo 2. E2 continues in its predecessor's puzzle footsteps of moving various streams of flowing liquid by positioning a variety of mechanisms to direct the flow. The new game will feature a 3D environment and the replacement of oil and fire from the original with plasma and laser beam.

From the preview:

One of the high points of the original is the infectious soundtrack, and the upddate the music receives turns the playfuly driving loops into soaring atmospheric numbers. Good music accompaniment underscores without distracting, and Enigmo 2's music is some of the best I've ever heard. It matches the mood and environment as well as I've ever heard. Generally, there are a number of other details in the jump to 3D: The soft dripping of water from its emitter and the gentle tapping of the same drops on the heads of the drums pan across the speakers as you spin around in the environment is the icing on the aural cake with Enigmo's 3D transition.
Enigmo 2 is scheduled for a February 17 release and will priced at $29.95. To read the full preview and learn more about the game click on the following links.
