Oh, interesting. This seems to be a port of the quite well received iOS/Android game. Very welcome, though, since there aren't that many good rally games.

Okay, well, it can't really hide that it's a port of a mobile game based on a 14 year old game: visuals are pretty dated (e.g. card board trees and audience), the damage model is very coarse, the menus are clunky and the game is overall pretty limited (e.g. only four cars, only three locations, no tinkering with the car settings). It plays quite well, though.

Definitely no CMR 2005/Mac, Dirt 2 or a really "good" rally game, in fact.

It reminds me most of "Rally Shift" - I did eventually get it to recognise my Logitech Wheel - strangely by turning off "Wheel Support"? but there is no force feedback or resistance which means it is too light and there is no real feel.

That to me that was what was so great about Colin McRae Rally Mac that Feral gave us in the past.

Think I'll stick to Dirt 2 for my Rally fix and be grateful we got F1 2013 and perhaps a bit of Grid and Auto Sport Driving to keep me busy - hopefully until an F1 2014/15 Mac version....
