In the company's most recent newsletter Running With Scissors officially announced work has begun on the third installment of the controversial Postal series. Currently under the working title Postal 3: Catharsis, the first person shooter will continue the destructive saga of The Dude.

It has been formally announced that the next milestone in the POSTAL saga is already in development. The game, under the working title, POSTAL 3: Catharsis and is headed directly down the throat of the XBox 360 and the PC. More details on what happens to a complex, multi-dimensional individual like The Dude after he has razed Paradise and left it a (radioactive) parking lot. Let the questions and suggestions pour forth.
The newsletter also discusses the upcoming movie adaptation of Postal, a planned graphic novel, and the recently introduced option to download the Postal games online. This last announcement is aimed at giving access to gamers currently living in countries which have banned the sale of retail versions of the Postal games.

I wonder if the XBox 360 edition is going to make the mac (Hopefully) edition come faster, since they share chips at this point.
"They're everywhere!"

And now, time for some Legend of Zelda.

Don't expect the game to run well or have great AI.  :P

A postal game with great AI? NPCs either ran away or zerged the player.

I would rather see FEAR get ported then another boring postal game. Sure random violence is fun, but GTA has much more substance.

Great news.  I expected this, but am happy to see it announced.  If you don't like Postal, then don't bother reading the news articles about it.  Hopefully they can put more character/environment/stuff interaction into the next one.

Forget the movie...Uwe Boll is directing it.
