Blizzard announced that their upcoming World of WarCraft expansion will be playable for BlizzCon attendees. They will have the oppurtunity to try out the next wave of offerings from the world's most popular MMORPG. The expansion set is still yet to be named and is still shrouded in mystery.

The World of Warcraft development team has confirmed that BlizzCon attendees will be able to go hands-on with a playable sneak peek of the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion. For those who won't be able to attend BlizzCon, please note that gaming magazines hitting newsstands in different regions of the world around the time of the event will feature in-depth previews on the new content we have in store.
For those of you who are on the fence about whether to attend BlizzCon, there is still a limited number of exhibit-only tickets on sale at a reduced price tag of $85. The exhibit-only tickets gives you access to everything, but the concluding music performance by the Offspring. In addition, this is a great chance to have a hands-on play of the upcoming World of WarCraft expansion set due sometime next year.

Yeah, and you don't even get to see The Offspring show... not like anyone wants to see that anyway, but come on, for $85 you should get to see a crappy concert at least.

Maybe the price is covering the cost of not seeing the Offspring?
