Not me, Neverfade, not all mac users steal stuff.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

I didn't mean me either, when I said that.  I bought the game from my Apple store the day it came out, and I am glad I did.   I really enjoyed it.

I was just commenting on the fact that it is possible to get doom 3 from bittorrnet and the like, is all, for people who didn't want to fork out the mosney to see if their machine was capable of this game.

I have a pretty new machine so I knew that I was not going to have any problems...

Contradict, much? Just leave it open for a bit longer so that as more people arrive and your upload:download stabalizes.

If you are using the bittorrent download for the demo, be sure you have the proper ports opened up on your router/firewall.

Yea, neither are working for me. Anyone sucessfully download it?

EDIT: Now it's downloading at 5.5K a second. This might take awhile... Lot's of people must be downloading from the MGF server right now.

EDIT: Yea, it's just be released today and already 4,573 people have downloaded it. I think it's time for a new mirror.

If only it had more mirrors for HTTP, so people could choose different servers, and take the strain off of the one server, which hundreds of people are downloading off of, and bittorrent is useless, so that does not count.

I was waiting for this demo to see how my aging PowerMac would handle it, and I'm very pleased with the result.  I just placed my order.

There are a total of 3 download mirrors and all are full. Why is bittorrent useless? I'm here testing it and getting 400k/sec.

Thats odd, it only shows 1 mirror for me.
When I do bittorrent, (and I have the ports open) I only get like 2.4 KB a sec, and that is inconsistantly, it is constantly stopping, I have left it for a hour to start, and I never got past 4.6 KB a sec, with about 1.3 MB downloaded then it stopped, I tried it with other bittorrents, but none of them work.

It wouldn't work for me. What program are you using? I've tried BitTorrent and Azureus and neither work for me. This would be so much faster if I could figure this out.

EDIT: Tomato doesn't work for me either.

Can you explain? What's broken about it? I tried it and it works. Please try to use specific explanations so we can fix things ;)
