One guess...

......World of IHaveNoLifeCraft

Same game the couple in Korea were playing for 4 hours while they left their 4 month old baby at home alone to die.

I think WoW is video game crack.    :glare:

Diablo II might be the culprit as well. That one has taken lives before.
You shouldn't ask yourself such worthless questions. Aim higher. Try this: why am I here? Why do I exist, and what is my purpose in this universe?

(Answers: 'Cause you are. 'Cause you do. 'Cause I got a shotgun, and you ain't got one.)

Games are harmless, it was probably the CyberCafe bill that gave him the heart attack.

Close, but the article I read said Starcraft.  But they called it a "battle simulation game."  Hmm....

You would have to be a buffoon/idiot/fool to not finish Myst in 40-something hours.

This story leaves me shaking my head. He died after playing games for 50 hours straight?! It's sad, pathetic... Why, I'm sure I could go at least 60 before expiring, and that's assuming I didn't train for it.

For all of you who have wives/girlfriends I commend you.

For thoes of you who don't and would rather play games I suggest therapy.  ;)

Wow. Turn abouts fair play sooo.. For those who don't need a wife/girlfriend to justify their existence, I commend you. But I digress...

Do what you enjoy. Play games, bike, fish, drive over people, enslave a foreign countries populace to make shoes, launch an A.I into space only to have it freak out and get a god complex. I don't discriminate. Hell people die every day, dying while playing a video game doesn't shock me one bit.

Now if he died while playing a video game, falling from 33,000 feet, while monkeys sang opera and typed out the world greatest novel...that would considerably surprise me.

Great...that WAS my plan, but now you've gone and ruined the surprise.

And note that this guy died AFTER playing a game for 50 hours.  Clearly the moral of this story is that if you stop playing games, you die.  So if your wives/girlfriends complain, tell 'em that you're just trying to survive.

Possibly it was the shock of suddenly not playing games any more.  Perhaps if he transitioned to a handheld GameBoy as he left the cyber cafe and then a game of cell phone Tetris when he got home followed by a few hours of tic tac toe on a scrap of paper he would have survived.

So this kid enjoyed playing games so much that he died over it.  Some will say it was good because he died doing something he loved but others will say that he will no longer do that thing that he loved so dearly.

Besides - a videogame is a stupid way to go - of all the different ways of dying.

I have this one great idea but it's ribald in nature.
