To erase the last shreds of doubt: D3 for Mac doesn't work with the PC expansion on purpose!

This is an official statement from id:

Quote

Note that the current Mac release (1.3) will not load any content from d3xp/, this is by design until Aspyr gets to shipping the expansion pack for Mac. So please refrain to try putting stuff together with d3xp code for Mac until then.

Put it in dExp, then. Buying the expansion gives you the right to try to make the game play it.

i'd be interested to know whether aspyr had a 'surge' in sales of d3 once the demo was release. This and the original launch sales together might be something they're looking at when considering releasing a mac version of RoE..
At a guess anyhow.. ;)

Gawd i'd love to play RoE!! And there are sooo many maps and mods that need RoE too!!    (i really want this game, can ya tell?) lol

C'mon Aspyr, a simple "no comment" will do. A wink's as good as a nod to a blind bat.

I'm resuming this dead thread.... i guess there isn't a way to play RoE with Doom3 for Mac, is it?
I've bought on App Store and finished it today... with the help of a nice mod which let you create a team and play with cpu team mates... too scary to go alone :-P (playing in difficult and with only one-two cpu teammates max).

There's only one way that I know of. Wrap the Windows Doom 3 up in a wrapper.

Or wait until iodoom3 comes out with RoE support.
