How many people here have actually successfully played RoN on GR at an acceptable speed?

I contacted MacSoft and they told me that they are aware of the multiplayer speed issue and right now RoN requires the players to have at least T1 speed to play without lag.

I have cable modem with max of 700K/sec down and 50K/sec up, quite fast, but RoN still runs like crap during multiplayer.

Has anyone with regular broadband connection played RoN on GR without a problem?

I wish I could say I had but... no. It's not that good. I have 1.5Mb by 128 kb DSL and the game slows on both Mac and PC. It does kinda suck.

Hmm so it's not just me. I have cable and it is a slow ass mule to play.

Yup... it's really disappointing as I bought the game mainly for online play...

Yeah, on 1.5Mb by 128Kb DSL it's unplayable with two players. Bummer.

Right, this was one of the main selling points of this game as I recall. I've been hoping to pick it up, but I think I'll wait until this problem gets sorted out.
