I just bought Sim City 4. I built up a small city about 1,000 people, and then it froze on me. To quit I had to reboot my computer by holding the power button down. Now evertime I play it freezes.
Has this happened to anyone, or anyone know how to fix it?
I have a PowerMac G5 2.0 Ghz with a 9600 Pro (64mb), and 512mb of ram.
I downloaded both patches. Any help would be appreciated! :-D

Many Games may have a problem such as this, usually it's just a corrupted file. You may need to start over. If that doesn't work try installing again.

Thanks seems to work great now.
But I have another question, How do you play the custom tracks? Or is that not available in the mac version.

I put the mp3's in the radio-> mayor folder, start the game up, go to my city, and i go to the sound option. The custom music check box isn't highlighted. Is there a step I am missing?
