Yeah, it could be coming. But how do you get from Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic to Liver and Onion?

Could it be that the latest Star Wars movies have been so bad that they brought tears to my eyes and they made me want to be ill? Onions bring tears to my eyes and eating liver makes me want to throw up.

That must be it, Liver and Onions is obviously SWKOTOR....

I didn't think the latest SW Movies were that bad.
Iread your post in Liver & Onions and
what is SW: Galaxies

What is Galaxies?

It's an MMORPG, like World of Warcraft, but set in the Star Wars Universe.
Kind of like the dream game for every SW fan out there, certainly now they released the Space Expansion pack  8).

Being a SW fan it hurts to say this, but the Prequels suck monkey .

SW: Galaxies is an MMORPG set in the StarWars Universe. Look here for more info. But I highly doubt it is mac bound, considering that EverQuest doesn't seem to get that much from Sony. Why would they bring a second MMO to compete with themselves?

And, according to the IMG News page, it is coming to the Mac. Much rejoicing can be heard coming from my house...

The wait is over! Aspyr displays once again why it is the most favored publisher of Mac games.

Couple of questions:

Who is porting this over?

Will there be PC Mac net play?
Work: MacBook - 2.4 Ghz Core 2 Duo - 4GB RAM - X3100 graphics.
Home: Mini - 2.0 Ghz Core2Duo - 2 GB RAM - GeForce 9400 graphics.

I am so happy this is coming, This year I got my first mac and was a little dissappointed when I first went to look for games.  But now I have complete faith in Asphyr.  They are already porting my favorite PC game (BF1942) and now the game I almost bought a new PC for.
Yeah Asphyr

No.

And the reason for this?

There's no PC to PC net play.

KotOR is a dedicated singleplayer game, and please don't let that go out on your decision on wether get the game or not, because as singleplayer games goes, it's supposed to be one of the best ever.

This is beyond a doubt one of the best RPG games I have ever had the opportunity to play.  Not since Wasteland on my Apple II did I get the exciting feeling right before an encounter.  Each cut scene gelled together with the last, right up until the ending which, not to spoil it, blew me away.  I will pre-order this and pay for expedited shipping.  I can't wait to play this game on my Mac.

As far as it being single player only, that would be akin to walking away from Final Fantasy because its only single player.

Well, it's a little bit different than just swapping out the rules. NWN runs on the Aurora engine. KOTOR runs on the Odyssey engine which is some steps above the NWN engine. It wouldn't just be a straight, easy port.

The code in KOTOR has "Aurora" and "nwn" plastered all over it. I haven't seen the NWN code, but I'd say it has a whole lot in common. I think it will be a straight, easy port. :)

It's being done in-house at Aspyr (so far, by yours truly).

BioWare spent the better part of a whole year on NWN Mac and that was only after the PC version shipped, though one can hardly believe it they supposedly began work far earlier in the development cycle. If you can finish this one up a lot quicker without access to Aurora Mac source (saying you hadn't seen it and all) you're either a god among programmers, whomever worked on it at BioWare was the very opposite, or both.

Wasn't KotOR made by Lucas Arts?
Or was it mad by both?
