wet miserable and depresing? or fun, frolicking and splendiforous?
Also curious where you'll be living. North or South? Brixton? Kensington? Walford?
I believe, from what he's said, he'll be living in Arizona? That would be West, to you. ;-)

Unless he's moving to Europe to be a programmer working remotely for a European company. But then again, he did quit Aspyr to work at Apple to quit Apple to work at Aspyr, so perhaps he really is getting ready for a hop across the pond... :D

Well, it's been a good 20 years since I was last there, but I recall it being very British.

Aaaaaa, right. So you're staying put. I get it now!
Dunno why, I just assumed you'd be hopping the channel.
If you do, I recommend walford. You can hang out with Phil Mitchell and the game on our TVs...

Is that the Postal guy? If so, I met with someone from that company years ago - a little before the time I joined Westlake - to apply for a job working on their Mac side. I didn't get it.

Yeah, Vince Desi the Postal dude.  You can still hang out with him, then when you flee Feral, you have Plan B already in place.  If a Mac legend can't get a job at Postal then this world makes no sense to me.  If you have played Postal 2, then you already know the layout of Running With Scissors.  Simply shoot a few protesters outside the doors, make your way in, turn left at the front desk then go down to the end of the hall.  Vince is probably in his office.  Bring lots of gasoline and a match with you.  I'm sure you can come to some sort of arrangement.  It might help to carry some backup heat like a .50 Desert Eagle cause once  negotiations break down and you set fire to Vince the other guys will come running in with some impressive firepower of their own.

You've labelled the Atlantic Ocean as a channel, making teflon CORRECT. Now what'd you go and do that for?

Let's see:

He's clearly using "English Channel" as the name of the body of water between the UK and continental Europe. The common name for this region, coincidentally, is English Channel.

He then implies that the highlighted portion of the Atlantic ocean, between North America and Europe, is the body of water Not-"English Channel."

Not-English Channel = The indicated region, which is not the English Channel.

So if his is American grammar, then I'd say the joke is on your British reading comprehension. Snap! :P
