Been playing since the Alpha and it’s quite good. Super polished interface, full control. Mostly fair FTP mechanics though drafts could be cheaper.
Hope iOS is next...

As for the EGS "exclusity": Meh. There's still the standalone version, so who cares?

They’ve always said the Mac version would come in winter, after the Epic version (which was just released.) The Mac version appears in their January development roadmap here: https://magic.wizard...uary-2020-01-10

From a quick google search.... You are absolutely right! They look crazy fraked up. How often can they use, what I am assuming are activated abilities, listed on the sides of the cards?
Once when you can play a sorcery, and only one ability per turn. But they’re still pretty crazy.

I only recently got into Magic (just kitchen table with a buddy of mine on weekends). I dont follow most formats but I am familiar with a few of them. Next week we are going to try our first pauper matches, can't wait. It will also be great to get arena for the times we cant meet so we can get a match or two going online. I also hope as the game develops they give us a way to scan our physical cards into the game.

They give you codes for buying some preconstructed decks. I don't think they'll ever do anything more than that. You can also get codes for a free Limited event by attending prerelease tourneys. See here for more on this, and some free codes.

Shame they wont do more. I live in Japan and have to get imported packs to get my Magic fix. I dont have time to attend magic events and even if I did I doulbt I would get the most out of them here and they are far away to boot. But thanks for the link!
