Found a download, it's free with a sign up so not sure if that site is legit but look around see what you can find.  MacOS versions exist.

I did not have that game on my radar. I thought about AssasinsCreed2 and Brotherhood.
That should be native Mac-Ports. There was another on that was "ciderized"...but I am not sure about that.

Ubisoft support told me that can't sell beside their shop and guess what? no macgames available for sale.

One of the AC2/NBrotherhood Mac-native ports broke after only a couple years. So even if you found a copy it might not run unless you happen to be on a very specific OS version.

What I did was get a cheap/free old console, and then old AC games are just a couple bucks each. I agree it's not ideal, but if you need your AC2 fix it works.

my gaming setup has 10.11 that should be perfect for both :)
I don't want to get the pirated versions...but obviously I am forced to like on rage.
to be fair, i use the no activation crack on rage, and install it through my original dvd.

I still have them listed in my Mac steam library, but they won't run due to my Mac being on Catalina. Have their store pages on Steam been pulled (for the Mac version)?

MacGameStore used to sell both AC2 and Brotherhood, but only AC2 was available on the Mac App Store too.
Ubisoft also sold a DVD version of AC2, which you can still get used copies of on amazon or eBay.

But they do run only on specific Mac OS versions, if memory serves me...
The one from the Mac App Store only worked on v10.6.
The ones from MacGameStore worked on v10.6.8 up until v10.9.5.
Ubisoft only officially supported Mac OS X v10.5 and v10.6.

10.9.5 means HD3000 for me, but it's all the same because I can't buy them anymore.
