I forget to mention that Unknown Realm was also funded via MegaFounder too. The site has gone, so I don't remember the exact details (although I funded them here). Several tens of thousands of dollars were raised via MF iirc.

It's a very interesting story, although not in a good way.

So Unknown Realm was looking pretty good; $126k raised on Kickstarter for an 8-bit RPG throwback in pre-alpha.

Delivery date was Dec 2017, that came and went, and apparently no further progress on the game since the original campaign, other than the release of a chiptune music track. Very evasive developers and plenty of angry backers, as you can imagine. It'll be an interesting case study at some stage. Did the game even exist at all?

Speaking of, the 8.3 patch of WoW, which was released a week ago and contains the final raid of the expansion, plus a bunch of other content, is unplayable on many Macs due to a show-stopping bug (which seems to be related to Intel GPU overheats). People, understandably, are not happy.

Having fun with A Short Hike right now which is incredibly fun and mellow, but, as the title suggests, short. It's hard to say exactly how far through I am, but I suspect you could play through it in a couple of evenings. But that's OK. It's the sort of game you can start again just to chill out with the ambience.
