My son just recently launched Spore a few days ago and it ran fine but lately it will hang on the main screen where you can't select a planet. I can't change the game settings.
We are on a late 2013 iMac running 10.13.3 (High Sierra)
16mb of ram.
Game patch from 2015.
Perhaps its time to reinstall it?
(Now) Late 2013 27" 3.4 ghz iMac, stock configurations.
(Then) 2005 Powermac G5 Dual Core 2.3 ghz, Leopard, 256mb nvidia 6600GT.

The last OS I got Spore to work on was 10.10 so best of luck :teehee:

It was a transgaming port and they are long gone now.

Yeah, it was a Wine port to begin with, so you might be better off trying to run it under the latest WINE wrapper.
