I'm lucky enough to share my birthday with the new London Apple Store.

Going to head down there in a bit and see if they will offer me a discount as we are sharing birthdays
what do you think my chances are?

A. Get laughed out of the store

B. Get told politely 'no chance'

C. Get offered  a 10% discount on selected items.

D. Get offered %30 of any items i buy that day.

I'd say

E) get sweet congratulations and a balloon or sticker or something else they hand out for free anyway.
You shouldn't ask yourself such worthless questions. Aim higher. Try this: why am I here? Why do I exist, and what is my purpose in this universe?

(Answers: 'Cause you are. 'Cause you do. 'Cause I got a shotgun, and you ain't got one.)

No chance, I know the store manager there. =)

Anyway, please tell him I said hello. His name is John O'Grady and he's one of the most admirable persons I know.
I live in Mexifornia.

Watched the scenes on the TV, Crazy people sleeping out in Freezing temperatures and queuing for miles outside. I think ill wait for the hype to settle before i visit.

Just get a buzz hair cut, grow some stubble on your face, put on a black turtleneck and pants then have all your friends dress up in suits and crowd around you, then just walk up to the front of the line and go inside.

Yeah, i think i'll give the initial hype a miss too. But i won't wait too long! Maybe a short trip down the central line from Bank to Oxford Circus after work sometime this week... :p

Well i went down and queued up for 15 mins to get in and got "E", not an E! Imagine that  8)  so Whaleman was spot on.

The store is fantastic, well laid out with plenty of staff. I saw and drooled over the 30" Display for 10 mins or so and had a listen to the Bose ipod system which i thought sounded really good.

Feel a bit sorry for the Mac resellers who are going to get hit hard by this opening but that's capitalism for you.
