That's because the feature is not public knowledge for a reason. We keep it for support issues only. I would appreciate it if we don't pass it around as you can break the game and have side effects by enabling the fps counter and other options in that menu.
So the first rule of the Feral Debug Option is no to talk about the Feral Debug Option? No problem. Not that I actually know how to enable this anyway, I just remembered that somebody mentioned this here in the past.
"We do what we must, because we can."
"Gaming on a Mac is like women on the internet." — "Highly common and totally awesome?"

Indeed.  For example, if I say "Hey tBC, can you help me with something", he completely vanishes.

Try to lure him in with "Hey tBC, I can't eat this cake all alone!" or "Hey tBC, I can't figure out what the red button on this TOZT-7 Backpack Napalm Unit does" and see what happens. Or just dangle a string in front of his nose.
"They're everywhere!"

And now, time for some Legend of Zelda.

Right, and dangle some crack in front of an addict while you are at it.

We have a team of disposable "red shirts" who will stop at nothing (apart from death) to accomplish their target.

If I recall correctly, Feral puts by default a [pink pony] :P into all of their ports that can be activated by a certain command in the startup dialog...

Just checking did you have VSync and FSAA off? Those are the biggest FPS killers...

I'm afraid to say it but it probably is a good idea to turn vsync off but at least with Bioshock there are no FSAA options to speak of. ...

Aaah little mindless me.. I had the VSYNC option enabled. I guess I am so used to having it disabled it don't see it anymore. Performance is noticeably better at 1600x900 with VSYNC off. Thx !

np, glad it worked, VSync is evil fps killer unless you are actually experiencing tearing which usually only happens when you have an insanely high fps (over the screen refresh rate). So for most people having it off by default is the best way then turn it back on if you experience tearing.
