I thought their Boxer and WINE wrappers were 32-bit. How'd they do this one?!

I had to double-check that one myself. But Apple's system profiler says it's 64 bit, and it boots in Mojave without complaint. So
I'm afraid that's a false positive: the GOG games consist of a DOS game in a Boxer wrapper bundled within a GOG launcher. The latter, most outward binary is what the System Profiler sees and is in fact 64-bit. The DOSbox wrapper inside is only 32-bit.

Due to lack of time I only managed to finish the DLC today (save for some sidequests only available after the end), and it was fine. The main antagonist was rather weak, and some of the cameos of the supporting characters felt unnecessary and a bit like filler material, but I enjoyed it.

The sendoff for…
Spoiler
…was nice.

C&C Generals, Sims 2, SimCity 4 were were fairly 'recent' re-releases from 2014/2015, so updating must be easier for them.
I don't think that played a major role: the Sims 2 spin-offs (Life Stories/Pet Stories/Castaway Stories) were all released after the Sims 2 Collection. I think it might be more due to how much money they make with these games.

Jade Empire has been 64-bit from release anyway.
Oh, it is? Then disregard what I said about it.

Aspyr announced today, they will remove the following games from sale after today 17/06/2019:
  • BioShock Infinite
  • Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
  • Call of Duty
  • Call of Duty 2
  • Call of Duty 4
  • Call of Duty Black Ops
  • Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2
  • Civilization IV
  • Civilization IV: Colonization
  • Doom 3
  • Duke Nukem Forever
  • Fahrenheit
  • Homeworld Remastered Collection
  • Prey
  • Quake 4
  • RAGE
  • Star Wars: Empire at War
  • Star Wars: Jedi Academy
  • Star Wars: Jedi Outcast
  • Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
  • Sims 2: Life Stories
  • Sims 2: Pet Stories
  • Sims 2: Castaway Stories
  • Tomb Raider 2
On closer inspection, it's interesting which games are not on this list: The Sims 2 Super Collection, Sim City 4, Knights of the Old Republic, Jade Empire, and Command and Conquer: Generals for instance are all still 32-bit and still on sale. So Aspyr still seems to have plans with these games.

The Pre-Sequel and BioShock Infinite getting the boot is kind of shocking, to be honest.
BL:TPS definitely puzzles me, as it's technically extremely closely related to BL2.

Anyway, regarding the Steam versions (which right now are still listed as Mac compatible there): almost for sure this will work as it did with the delisted Feral ports, i.e. you still will be able to get the Mac version if you buy the games even after the Mac logo has been removed.
