If you look at their website they're still very active in porting, so those companies are paying them to port their games and i imagine people are still buying them too. They also appear to have a mobile port division too. They made not be good at these things, but they seem to do a lot of it.

I guess that makes some sense in a world where people line up at drive through windows to buy pseudo hamburgers that are slapped together and lukewarm on a good day for twice the cost of something fresh that is less likely to kill you before your time and actually tastes good.

I wonder how they stay in business. Maybe it's  just a couple of guys doing it now.

These two guys probably handle porting games as a side activity in the evening, when they're done flipping burgers.

VP removed more than half of their games from the Mac App Store lately, notably 'DiRT Showdown', probably due to the licensing reasons, and 'Assault on Dark Athena'.
AppShopper still lists all 38 games, now there're only 17 left.

Majesty 2 was also one of my favourites, despite the fact that it had hard-crashing bugs on release. (Which never were fixed, and now it's disappeared for good...)

People complaining about WINE and WINE ports should look at VP ports. At least WINE works

Also I'm pretty sure that 90% of the wine ported games I've played/made myself performed better than the VP ones I've played.
Maybe it really is all cocks in the end.

WINE and CodeWeavers do good work. WoWS plays better than any VP port I've ever played.

PaultheTall also does good work.
