Please Help! My external hard drive SanDisk wasn’t removed properly and now it will not mount on my MacBook Air. What can I do to get my data back. Running macOS Catalina 10.15.1.

Does it show up in Disk Utility? If so, run Disk First Aid and report back.

Try a different cable.
