daft question and apologies if covered above. my mate has an older laptop which he wont be installing Catalina on, I doubt it would install tbh. I was telling him about tropico which he'd never heard of, im playing tropico 6 on my imac, but his 2013 or 2015 I forget laptop wont run it, but would run tropico 5 or 4.

I looked on steam and both are listed as windows only, im assuming coz they aren't 64bit for mac. if you buy those games and are running an older OS, can you download the mac version, is it just hidden from the sales page,  or is it gone completely?

Steam _always_ list all avaiable platform versions no matter what and if you buy the game you _always_ get all versions available at once.

If it's not mentioned on the Store Page it's does not exist (on Steam) and you won't get any other versions. It can happen though, that a dev adds a platform or stops supporting one at their discretion.

Also, there are always System Requirements listed at the end of the Store Page for the platforms supported.

This adapter is a two-way adapter. Will work to use TB 1/2 devices on a TB 3 Mac, as well as to use TB 3 devices (like an eGPU enclosure) on a TB 1/2 Mac. I use an Akitio Node eGPU with Vega 56 on my 2012 15” Retina MBP with TB 1 using this adapter and a normal TB 2 cable.

I never realized they work bi-directional and I use 2 of them... :teehee:

It works. Mini 2011 TB1-Cable->TB3 Adapter- Sonnet G550 RX470 8GB.
I had to use the script in order to get it work under 10.13.6.

CPU-Demanding Games are a problem (e.g. Tombraider), all other games
are really fast on that setup.

Where did you get a TB1/2 TO TB3 Adapter from?

I am all in on BL3. But man, that was a really bad trailer. Complete random things stuck together, and to me it shows a game this is more in the early stages of being produced, rather than something that should be released within a year.

totally with you, here. Too samey, too much relying on the status BL1/BL2 earned and the "together with friends"-trope. Stiff/ clunky animations. From _that_ trailer I am totally underwhelmed.

I am more excited about the 'updates' BL1/BL2/Pre will get.
