However it may be a relations issue, given how HITMAN has changed hands purely to IOI now. Feral may have to enter a whole new negotiations routine.

I think, on top of that, they are also just plain busy: with Total War: Three Kingdoms, DiRT 4, that LEGO game, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Life is Strange 2, and what appears to be Bioshock 2 Remastered, they already have a larger amount of Mac projects we know about in the pipeline than they had for a long time, in addition to the 64-bit/Metal patches they are working on.

And we can't count on other porting houses these days... The last title Aspyr ported was Mafia III.

'HITMAN 2' is published by Warner Bros., Feral has been doing Warner Bros. ports for ages.

Publishing and Developing are two different things. ioi are now the new rightful owners of the IP, and thus control its remakes/ports/agreements. Warner bros just finds the venues to sell it.
Either way, I suspect Feral is just too darn busy.
