I have bought some (too) many games in 2019, even today because cdkeys' Easter sale is too good to pass. But I have such a backlog that, like Frigidman, I don't care about timed exclusives. All games I buy are a few years old, GOTY or equivalent when that exists, all patched up, and cheap (usually €5 or less; it's very rare when I reach €10, like today for Fallout 4 GOTY).

I have yet to install the Epic client, but I will someday, because free games gallore. :)

I have it installed, but only launch it twice a month to register the new free game "du jour". That reminds me when Origin had frequent free games: I grabbed almost all of them, but I think I played only two (out of 30 or so).

macdude, Steam is loaded with useful features while Epic has basically none besides a barebones friends list:

This list isn't even complete (like, achievements). So that explains why some people are angry about these exclusivities.

Other stores/launchers aren't much better than Epic features wise, BTW (Origin, Uplay, GOG Galaxy, Bethesda, Mac App Store...).

This guy has lost touch with the real world.
He reminds me of my 8 year old son who always tries to justify himself, even when obviously at fault.
Besides, he knows perfectly well that there is a system in place on Steam to counteract review bombing; very hypocritical behaviour if you ask me.
