I don't get sound out of my LaCie USB-Speakers in the games mentioned above.
I thin it's because the speakers "only" do 48khz and the ID-Tech4 Engine requires 44Khz, or am I wrong here?
Beside that issue the speakers are GREAT.
Any idea?

No. The LacIe Speakers do only 48Khz/16Bit and can not be switched.
If I choose internal spaeker (mini) then I have sound out of the mini.
The LaCie speakers work everywhere except the games above.

According to this OpenAL page, macOS has a working OpenAL implementation via Core Audio. Opening the preyconfig.cfg file there's a seta s_useOpenAL "0" line. Have you tried changing this to "1"?

Simple solution. Do not use USB only, use the headphone jack to and it works.
Before I used USB-Only, that worked for everything except doom3-engine games.
These speakers are the best solution for a macmini.
