I see Cuphead on sale on Steam and... I've set default filters to only show macOS games. I haply click. My windows widen with jowls dropping—I quickly load up IMG forums...

OS: OS X 10.9.x
Processor: Intel Core i5 or higher
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4000 or higher
Storage: 20 GB available space

Official Announcement.

BTW, I'm installing it now… looking forward to throwing my controller at my monitor… :wall:

Talk about a stealth release. Not my style of game, but I do love the art.

I love the idea, and the art. I fear if I try to actually play it I will throw my controller through my monitor.

I wish it had an easy mode. I get why it doesn't, but still. Maybe easy mode could have been a DLC? I'd pay $5 for it. :-)

There is actually an easier ("simple") mode, but this doesn't allow you to play the final stage.

Steam client was promoting the Mac port of Cuphead when I logged in today, and there is a cute trailer to go along with the official announcement.

(Also, they've announced DLC coming out next year: a new playable character, and more levels.)

I like how they spelled out "Macintosh." A nice retro touch.
